We only collect information when you knowingly provide it. Collection may include requesting information by phone, filling out a registration form on check-in, providing your business card to us, or e-mailing or faxing us your details.
Do we disclose your personal information to anyone ?
We may disclose your personal information where you have consented to us doing so. We may also be required or authorised by law to disclose your personal information.
Is your personal information up-to-date ?
It is important that the personal information we collect is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You can contact us at any time to update your personal information, or to tell us if your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete.
Is your personal information secure ?
We take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your personal information from misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. When your information is no longer required we securely destroy it from our systems.
Can you access your personal information ?
You may request access to the information we hold about you by contacting us. We may be required by law to retain your personal information after you have ceased your relationship with us.
Does your personal information leave the country ?
We do not send personal information outside the country unless to do so is authorised by law.
What about sensitive information ?
Sensitive information can be about racial or ethnic origin, membership of a profession or trade, personal health or other personal information. We only collect, use or disclose sensitive information about you as is allowed by law.
We constantly review our policies and procedures to keep up-to-date with changes in law, technology and the needs of our guests and we may change this policy from time to time.
Can you complain about a breach of your privacy ?

Booking Terms & Conditions.
Our reception hours are 8.30am – 5pm Monday – Saturday and 9.00am – 1pm Sunday & Public Holidays.
Cancellation Policy – Refunds for Direct Bookings
● Between 14 days (or 30 days during Christmas holidays season) and 48 hours prior to check-in – $200 or 50% of payment made, whichever is greater or no refund given if booked with 14 days advance purchase
● Within 48 hours prior to check -100% of cost.
Change booking dates for Direct Bookings
Guest who booked directly with us may change their travel date simply calling us at 07 5570 1000 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Fare difference may apply, subject to the dates. Stay must be completed within 6 months from the original date.
The change of dates is ONLY available for Direct Bookings.
A no show is when you do not check in on the scheduled day. In the case of a no show your full payment will not be refunded.
Early Departures for Direct Bookings
Should guests decide to depart earlier than scheduled, charges for the unused nights will only be refunded if all unused nights are re-let and only if the booking is a Direct Booking. In the event of a refund is given it will be subject to an administration fee of $25.
We do have secure underground parking available at $5 per night (free for Direct Bookings). Entrance to the car park is from Trickett Street. The height restriction is 1.92m.
Bond & security deposit
Upon check-in you will be required to provide a credit card pre-authorisation of $300 or a $300 cash deposit to cover any miscellaneous charges.
When you check in you will be asked to provide photographic identification in the form of drivers licence and credit card. If you are unable to provide such identification, your reservation may be cancelled.
Check in time is from 2.00pm. Should you wish to guarantee an earlier check in time you must book an additional night’s stay at the time of booking and pay the applicable rate.
Check out time is 10.00am. Should you wish to have a late check out time you may pay an additional $15 per hour (after 10am) up to 12 noon for a late check out. Direct Bookings qualify for complimentary late check out till 11am (subject to availability). Please enquire when checking in if late check out is available. Late check out is subject to availability. You are welcome to utilise our facilities on the day of departure.
All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent or guardian. If a guest is found to be under the age of 18 and is not accompanied by an adult, Beachcomber may immediately cancel the guest’s booking.
PLEASE NOTE: All linen is provided (with the exception of the beach towels). Units are not serviced daily. Should you require fresh linen or a service this may be provided at an additional cost. We provide a complimentary starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, soap, conditioner and shampoo and any additional items will need to be purchased by you.
Beachcomber strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes cover for forfeiture of deposits upon cancellation of booking.
Release & Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought into the room or onto the grounds or carpark remain your responsibility and Beachcomber is not responsible for their safe keeping.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Beachcomber and its current and former officers, employees and agents against and from all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgements and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at Beachcomber for any reason whatsoever.
You agree to indemnify Beachcomber and its current and former officers, employees and agents for all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgements and losses of any kind whatsoever (including consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damage for injury, including personal injury and death) incurred or suffered by Beachcomber or its current or former officers, employees or agents arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your reservation or your stay at Beachcomber except to the extent caused or contributed to by Beachcomber or its current or former officers, employees or agent’s negligence.
We grant you a licence to stay at our property and we reserve the right to terminate the licence at any time.
